There are colors that have a special meaning. The sky blue of Celta's shirt, combined with the white of the shorts, make up the colors of the Galician flag since Baliño Ledo decided that Celta would represent all Galicians in 1923.

One of the club's founders, Juan Baliño Ledo, was the great architect who shaped Celta's identity. A lawyer with a humanist education and moderate Galician nationalist convictions, he interpreted and endowed the club with a name and colours that today are inseparable from what Galicia represents.

Throughout the years, sky blue has ceased to be merely the color of a jersey to become one of the great symbols of Celta and its people.
Generation after generation, players, fans, and an entire city have found in it a way to recognize themselves. More than a visual identity, sky blue represents a way of understanding the club: a bond passed from parents to children that unites thousands of people around a shared feeling.
