RIO1923 is Celta's cultural initiatives platform. Under this name, the acronym for Roots, Identity, Pride, and the club's founding year, 1923, Celta aims to tell its rich history and the Galician spirit that forms it, beyond football.

"One team for one country"
First work published by RIO1923, presented at the Galician Literature Week. Written by Xavier Sánchez and presented to all Celts and our land.
Fashion
"The Reconquista" Collection
An ode to the city of Vigo: the red and white of its flag and the harlequin motif. A unique kit and a capsule collection that accompanies it.
Music
"Voltarei", with Hard GZ
Return to Europe in the 25/26 season. This led to the musical tribute to Galician emigration of the last century that we dedicated to it, led by the rapper Hard GZ. A collection of t-shirts and sweatshirts based on the song and theme of Voltarei.
FASHION
Hundred-year-old olive tree
A true symbol of our club and our people. We are all in love with our Centenary anthem collection, from the unforgettable black shirt with white flocking to the garments showing San Sebastián Castle and our olive tree that C. Tangana made so recognizable in our video clip shot on San Simón island.

What is RIO1923?
RIO1923 is Celta's cultural initiatives platform: fashion, music, publishing, and Galician identity. A way to show the concerns of a different fan base.
What does «1923» mean in the name?
The year our club was founded: Celta was born on August 23, 1923, as a result of the merger between the city's two teams, Vigo Sporting and Fortuna Vigo.
